As a Residential Loan Officer - CRA Focus, you'll help low- and moderate-income borrowers achieve their homeownership goals while growing your career in mortgage lending. You'll build trusted community relationships and make a lasting impact where it matters most.

Key Accountabilities

  • Originate residential mortgage loans in compliance with bank and regulatory standards.

  • Build and maintain referral networks with realtors, community partners, and internal teams.

  • Partner with local organizations and housing agencies to expand lending opportunities.

  • Guide customers through the mortgage process, recommending loan products that meet their needs.

  • Collaborate across business lines to deliver holistic financial solutions.

  • Monitor loan pipelines to ensure timely and accurate processing.

  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to loan origination and community outreach.

  • Promote Associated Bank's mission through active participation in community events.

Education & Experience

Required:

  • 2+ years of residential loan origination, processing, or housing counseling experience.

  • Knowledge of mortgage regulations (ECOA, RESPA, Regulation Z).

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience working with CRA or community development lending programs.
