Key Responsibilities:
1. Rope Access Technical Authority:
* Establish and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations related to rope access operations.
* Serve as the technical authority for rope access projects, ensuring the implementation of the best practices and safety protocols.
* Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
2. Business Development:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the field of rope access services.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to expand the company's market presence.
* Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective strategies for business growth.
3. Technical Expertise:
* Provide technical expertise and support for rope access teams, including from time to time assisting as liaison with external training partners with the development and delivery of training programs.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies related to rope access.
4. Project Management:
* Assist with the planning and execution of rope access projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
* Collaborate with project managers to address technical challenges and optimize project delivery.
5. Proposal and Contract Management:
* Assist with the preparation of technical proposals for rope access projects as requested by the field
* Collaborate with the business development teams to negotiate and finalize proposals and/or contracts
6. Quality Assurance:
* Oversee and maintain a robust quality assurance program for rope access operations.
* Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
7. Team Leadership:
* Provide leadership and guidance to rope access teams, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and excellence.
* Attend team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* IRATA Level 3 Certification
* Proven experience in rope access operations and technical authority roles.
* Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
* Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
* In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to travel as required for business development activities.
