Overview

The Risk Management Solutions rates desk is responsible for structuring and marketing interest rate, cross-currency, and credit derivative hedges to North American corporate clients. Clients include multi-national investment grade and high yield companies across a variety of sectors including healthcare, consumers, financial sponsors, technology, media and telecom, industrials, and energy. The desk is focused primarily on risk management associated with debt financing, asset/liability mix, and mergers & acquisitions. The open position is head of the group to cover Americas corporates for their hedging needs..

What You'll Do

  • Member of team for coverage of the largest corporate clients in the Americas region
  • Work closely with various areas to leverage the full DB offering including corporate banking, investment banking, trading, structuring, capital, and syndicate
  • Provide clients with differentiated content
  • Demonstrated track record of excellence with large corporate accounts
  • A strong understanding of macro and micro economics, market structure, accounting and financial theory

How You'll Lead

  • Focused on monetizing our services and growing client wallet share
  • Promote strategic growth and develop a consistent approach to client development
  • Ability to work with and manage a diverse group of traders and salespersons

Skills You'll Need

  • Undergraduate degree with an MBA preference
  • 10+ years of experience providing debt sales coverage with a core focus on rates
  • Series 3, 7, 24, 63 or 9, 10 (Supervisory)
  • CFA Preference

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Have strong interpersonal skills to work well with clients and various DB teams
  • Strong communication skills to persuade corporates to purchase DB services
  • Detail oriented and driven to succeed in a complex, fast moving environment

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $400,000 to $650,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
