JOB SUMMARY

This position processes payroll and supports projects assigned by the controller.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Promote ESI Inc.'s Core Values, and safety culture. Primary duties include: Coordinate, process, and reconcile the weekly union field payroll in accordance with Federal and State regulations and in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and GAAP standards. The weekly payroll includes employees working in multiple states, unions, and tax jurisdictions.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS



* Completion of at least a two-year degree in accounting or business and three years of experience performing payroll duties.



REQUIRED KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES



Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures. Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Knowledge and experience working with unions and union payrolls. Union reporting experience is desired. Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) in dealing with internal and external customers. A working knowledge of all federal and state regulations regarding payroll practices and Sarbanes-Oxley standards. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications. Must maintain highly confidential and sensitive information. Must be willing to pick up and use new technology where beneficial to the Company as directed by Management to assist in key functions. Must be willing to work in a team environment and be collaborative with many other team members. Must be willing to work overtime when needed and, in some cases, on weekends.
