Accessibility Resources is seeking an Access Coordinator who will work directly with students, faculty and campus partners within the Linder College of Business (LCB) and College of Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services (CECH). This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule in accordance with UC's remote work policy. The Access Coordinator serves as the primary resource for assigned colleges to enable student success in an accessible, inclusive educational and co-curricular university experience. This includes the assessment and determination of student accommodation requests as required by the Americans with Disability Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and other relevant state and local laws. Additionally, the Access Coordinator will serve as a resource to students, faculty, advisors, academic program directors, and college administrators to coordinate a holistic approach to full and equal access for the assigned colleges. This position coordinates individual services applicable to an assigned caseload; conducts educational presentations regarding disability/accessibility-related issues; and collaborates with the colleges to improve in the recruitment, retention, and success of students with disabilities. Essential Functions
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work or Social Services, Educational Leadership, Rehabilitation Counseling or related field Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement Required Experience
Three (3) years of experience working with students with disabilitiesin an education environment or in disability compliance in a related setting Additional Qualifications Considered
