Our company's measurable growth is in no small part due to our team members in North Carolina, Arkansas, Illinois, and Missouri, who each have a seat at the table to contribute to our success The selected candidate must live within a commutable distance to our three Midwest plant locations: Carthage, MO; Ozark, MO; and Huntsville, AR. The selected candidate may also be based in Garner, NC and travel to the Midwest plants as needed throughout the month. Job Summary Acts as a learning consultant and trusted advisor to the business and partners in identifying, developing, and implementing learning and development solutions that align to our organizational talent development needs and strategies. Works with all levels of the organization to design and deliver impactful and relevant learning solutions that enable all our team members to grow and flourish. Supports the implementation of key talent initiatives across all aspects of our organization related to career growth, development, effectiveness, and engagement. Key Responsibilities 1. Develops and maintains cross-functional strategic partnerships to meet learning & development (L&D) needs, identify talent development gaps, and support the implementation of key talent initiatives across the organization. Acts as a trusted advisor to internal business partners. 2. Researches, designs, develops, and supports the facilitation (internal or through external partner) of development programs and L&D solutions for classroom and virtual trainings. Owns L&D solutions from start to finish and utilizes input from business inputs and subject matter experts, adult learning theory, and learning design principles. 3. Conducts team member/business unit needs assessments to identify development needs to achieve business goals and increase team member and organizational capabilities. Identifies most effective learning solutions that fit the culture, strategic direction, and resources of the organization. 4. Provides individualized coaching and supports the creation of development plans with progress tracking. 5. Utilizes the most effective learning mix (i.e., instructor led, live-on-line, e-Learning, blended learning, or social learning) for the agreed target audience while applying best practices for effective learning methodology. 6. Integrates competency model to ensure talent development efforts are aligned with business needs. 7. Operationalizes best-in-class practices to impact standardization, efficiency, and reduction in costs. 8. Incorporates relevant trends, developments, and best practices in the learning and development field, including new technologies and methodologies. 9. Plans, schedules, and communicates training events to coordinate with business units' schedules and needs. 10. Enhances the learner's experience by looking for new ways to integrate learning into the flow of work, to increase learning consumption and satisfy learning needs. Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience) * Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent (i.e., Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR, Training, etc.) * 5+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role * Experience with designing, developing, and facilitating leadership training in a corporate or manufacturing environment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Butterball Core Competencies Caring about people, valuing contributions, and empowering to succeed is the Butterball Way. Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Knowledge of learning technologies (LMS, Course Authoring Tools, etc.) and proficient in Microsoft applications * Ability to foster trust and develop strong business networks & partnerships, while effectively adjusting expectations * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with, train, coach, and provide feedback at all levels of the organization * Passionate about learning and developmentwith the ability to help encourage, motivate, and develop teammates to help them succeed, grow, and flourish * Strong in-person workshop and virtual presentation delivery skills * Skilled at project management, multi-tasking, and prioritization with the ability to own and guide moderately complex projects and project teams * Ability to conduct assessments, evaluate data, identify findings, and create recommendations * Resolute and committed to providing the highest level of service while remaining aligned with the goals of the organization * Ability and willingness to conduct training during the evening and/or on weekends, with local and out of state travel, as needed Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Master's degree in related field * Certifications in Situational Leadership, Crucial Conversations, Crucial Accountability, Emotional Intelligence, Prosci, Project Management, etc. * Experience in all aspects of building organizational development programs (i.e., needs assessment, design, development, facilitation, evaluation) * Experience building and promoting diversity, belonging and inclusion through learning solutions Physical Demands * While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions & Travel Requirements * Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment with the option to work remotely periodically. For remote work, the employee must have a dedicated workspace to safely setup and use assigned IT equipment, preferably free from distractions. The employee is responsible for ensuring adequate internet service is available when working remotely (the recommended minimum speed is 20mb download and 5mb upload). * The noise level of the environment is usually moderate. * Travel required up to 50% of the time.
