You will work closely with engineering teams across Microsoft, working on low-level systems, and developer tooling to ensure every update is fast, reliable and secure. Responsibilities* Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable, and high-quality code for mission-critical systems. * Make independent technical decisions and demonstrate ownership of features and deliverables.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, performance, and correctness of the OS update and recovery experience.* Take end-to-end responsibility for development, observability, quality, testing, and production readiness of the services you build.* Mentor and train team members, investing in the growth of an inclusive and capable team.* Participate in code reviews, bug triage, and support well-informed decisions toward business and engineering goals.* Debug and troubleshoot complex distributed systems, drive analysis of issues and outages, and implement durable system fixes.* Influence ongoing design, architecture, standards, and methods for operating software-defined services and systems.
