The Investment Analyst position is in the Asset Management Group (AMG), a department within the North America Treasury organization. AMG has responsibility for the company's retirement assets, which include defined benefit pension plans and 401(k) savings plans, totaling over $30 billion globally in asset classes including public equities, fixed income, hedge funds and private markets (e.g., private equity, venture capital, private credit, real assets).

Key responsibilities of this position include the following:



  • Ensure performance of assigned asset class (or asset classes) is accurate, including working with the custodian's performance team as needed
  • Process investment manager communications (e.g., capital calls, distributions, amendments) as needed by collaborating with the custodian, external counsel and AMG management as appropriate
  • Process investment management agreements (IMAs) and/or investment manager subscription documents for new investment managers hired
  • Ensure new investment managers are onboarded efficiently by working with the AMG Operations team and custodian
  • Address requests from AMG Operations team in a timely manner
  • Support AMG management on requests from external parties, including auditors
  • Evaluate external investment managers through research and due diligence
  • Monitor external investment managers
  • Actively participate in discussions with AMG management regarding investment manager recommendations and portfolio positioning
  • Prepare materials for assigned asset class (or asset classes) for the Pension Investment Committee (PIC)
  • Special projects, as assigned by AMG management

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in fields or industries related to the degrees above
  • Strong desire to learn about financial markets and perform investment research on emerging trends
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to effectively manage multiple projects
