SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

This position collaborates with Amtrak's suppliers and Amtrak end-users to enable systems to properly and efficiently interact via the Ariba Network for both the upstream Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) and downstream supplier enablement (SE) activities. This position manages the execution of the supplier workstreams by coordinating internal outreach and directly providing expert support, escalating issues as needed to SAP Ariba and IT teams, tracking supplier workstream issues in Ariba On Demand (AOD), providing education and training to suppliers and Amtrak end users on functionality of the Ariba Network. This role is responsible for securing the necessary business and contact information from suppliers and/or Amtrak end users to lead the Supplier Registration/Qualification and Enablement processes in AOD. The position requires excellent system knowledge andorganization, communication and interpersonal skills to capture and process the supplied data to onboard Amtrak suppliers and to ensure workflow approval steps are met on a timely basis. This position also requires excellent customer service and presentation skills to organize and facilitate screen sharing meetings to assist in the end-to-end process including troubleshooting issues, assisting vendors with the Process Order features, order confirmations, and invoice transactions. This position works cross-functionally including Procurement Buyers, Finance, Supplier Diversity team and end users. This position will use SAP, the Ariba Network, and AOD to gather supplier profiles and MS Excel to organize the onboarding metrics

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Troubleshoot Ariba for SLP and Supplier Enablement issues
* Provide outstanding customer service to Amtrak's suppliers and SAP Ariba end-users
* Utilize proficiency in the ERP systems to problem-solve for stakeholders or suppliers when help is needed.
* Partner with other cross-functional team leads as needed to ensue smooth Supplier Qualification/Enablements
* Work cross-functionally as an excellent problem-solver
* Understands Supplier workflows and Supplier Master Data/Setup which may have impacts on Supplier Enablement

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

*Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or other related field or equivalent combination of training, education, and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
* Demonstrated hands-on experience and computer skills with SLP and SE in SAP Ariba
* Experience with SAP Ariba Business Network system
* Solid organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Must be able to work and communicate effectively in writing and verbally with all levels of the company and suppliers.
* Proficient to mastery in Excel and all of the common Microsoft Office Business applications (i.e. Word, Powerpoint, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* 3-5+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree
* Experience in SAP and/or Ariba ERP system and Procure-to-Pay processes
* Ability to apply technology knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
* Project management experience.
* Demonstrated experience and expertise with SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) module and Supplier Enablement (SE) (i.e. Supplier Registration/Qualification/Enablement)

COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

The salary range is $78,600-$101,844. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. Depending on an employee's assigned worksite or location, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to be applied to the employee's base salary. Amtrak may offer additional incentive and pay programs to recognize and reward our employees, including a short-term incentive bonus based upon factors such as individual and company performance that is commensurate with the level of the position and/or long-term incentive plan compensation.
