Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Design low to high-fidelity comps to communicate user flows and interactions in the application.
  • Create or use existing design system guide(s) to ensure consistent design language is used throughout the application(s).
  • Design high-fidelity comps and other design assets to be used to present to clients and share with developers for implementation.
  • Strong visual design skills are a must. Aesthetics not only make our products more attractive, but also improves their function, usability, and ability to communicate.
  • Passion for the details. We need a detailed-oriented designer that thinks through use cases, edge cases, and provides clear, consistent design direction to our development teams.
  • Run design critique sessions utilizing Design Thinking exercises (i.e., User Journey, User Personas, etc.). Be ready to present your work in an organized way for your team and clients to be able to see the user flow and provide feedback. Also, take the critique to revise and deliver an updated design to the team promptly.
  • Expert in design software (Figma, Adobe XD, or similar).
  • Research and stay up-to-date on UI research and industry standards and trends to create tools that follow modern UI guidelines
  • Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams. Ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional Business Units within Crowe.
  • Strong communication skills: able to explain design concepts equally well to other designers, developers, and clients.

  • Visual Design - Defines and improves the styling and experience of their product set. Leads and guides others work, with effective critique.
  • Culture and Togetherness - Is conscious of signaling and tries to act as you expect other team members to act. Works to develop good positive relationships. Participates in team activities.
  • Stakeholder Management - Known for being efficient and reliable, and doing what you say you will do. Proactively manages expectations even when it results in frustration or personal reputation risk.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Communications, or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 7 years of relevant experience
  • Exceptional understanding of UX best practices and visual design, and experience with SaaS or complex enterprise applications
  • Strong facilitation and collaboration abilities, and a flexible and friendly approach to working with teams
  • Experience working with an Agile mindset, values, and principles
  • Proficient with design tools (i.e., Figma, Adobe XD, etc.)
  • Exposure to JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Technology certification, a plus
  • A design portfolio

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $98,500.00 - $201,500.00 per year.
