Description
The Neuromodulation Division at UCLA Health is seeking a highly skilled Business & Finance Manager to lead the Division's financial, HR, and business operations in support of clinical care, research, and education. As a Business Finance Manager, you will:
- Oversee
and manage all Division accounts including clinical revenue ($15M annually), contracts, grants, endowments, and state funding - Develop
and maintain integrated financial models, forecasts, and reporting systems that support leadership decision-making - Manage
post-award grant activity subawards and contracting processes to ensure compliance with institutional and sponsor requirements. - Partner
with faculty to support budget planning, grant submission, and strategic financial planning. - Oversee
billing, reimbursement, and clinical service payments to ensure timely and accurate revenue management - Supervise
staff responsible for purchasing, reimbursements, an insurance processing, while leading HR processes including hiring, onboarding, position changes, and job description updates - Serve
as a strategic partner to Division leadership, providing guidance on financial sustainability and growth initiatives

Qualifications
- Master's
degree in finance, business, public health or related field or equivalent experience - 3-5 years of progressively responsible management experience in finance/business
operations within a healthcare, research, or academic setting - Experience
with an academic health system environment, with familiarity in navigating both clinical and research/academic program financial requirements (preferred) - Demonstrated
success managing large, complex budgets with experience across both clinical revenue and academic funding (contracts, grants, gifts, endowments, or state funds) - Proven
leadership and supervisory experience, including managing staff and cross-functional teams - Strong
knowledge of accounting, fund management, research administration, and HR business practices - Advanced
skills in financial forecasting, reporting, and compliance management - Excellent
communication, problem-solving and organizational skills - Ability
to partner effectively with leadership and faculty in a fast-paced environment
