SUMMARY
Agile Defense's Cyber Mission in Fort Meade, MD supplies the DoD, and Intel community with mission essential Next Generation Cyber professionals that support and defend our nation's security. Be a part of a team of System Engineering, Intelligence and Cyber professionals that are supplying our nation with leading Next Generation cybersecurity solutions. Agile Defense delivers unique intelligence, analytics, and data management solutions to address the world's most difficult challenges. Agile Defense is seeking a System Administrator to support a critical mission of consequence within our Test and Evaluation Business Unit in Fort Meade, MD.
The objective of this position is to provide S/A and Cyber Test Tools evaluation for the CTCC-East Testbed Operations at FGGM, Maryland. Using systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of multiple work products associated with the RMF accreditation of new Cyber tools on the DISA networks. The candidate will support day-to-day lab/customer interface for service requests & feedback. The candidate will provide technical assistance, and test event coordination for the piloting of new cyber tools for the DoDIN. The candidate will coordinate the Testbed Operations Support activities, schedule test events and resources, and provide property accountability and configuration management support and document in eMass.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
* Provide Risk Management Framework support in maintaining day-to-day information system security, Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), cyber documentation updates, and Assessment & Authorization validations.
* Coordinate Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnose and resolve problems during Cyber Tool test events.
* Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
* Document and manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
* Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitor and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
* Aid users in accessing and using IT systems.
* Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
* Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
* Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
* Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
* Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
* Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware.
* Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
* Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications

Education, Background, and Years of Experience
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
* Ten (10) years' or more of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
* Five (5) years' experience in Computer Network Operations to include:
* Installing and configuring Cyber Tools (Software already acquired)
* Create and maintain Data Backup Procedures.
* TCP/IP, networks, computer configuration, remote manipulation of systems (FTP, mapping drives, share accounts), remote monitoring and administration.
* Linux, VMS, and Windows operating systems administration to include shell scripting and XML
* Networking equipment and router operations
* Two (2) years' experience in information assurance to include IAVA patching and NISIRT

WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental Conditions
* Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
