What to Expect
The Tesla Robotics Team is responsible for designing and developing humanoid bi-pedal robots (Optimus), that can perform tasks that are mundane, repetitive, and hazardous for humans. This endeavor requires a multidisciplinary approach, combining expertise from mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and manufacturing engineering disciplines in a highly collaborative environment. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physics Engine Development Engineer/Scientist to accelerate the adoption of embodied artificial intelligence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing complex physics and mathematical models, translating them into efficient algorithms for high-throughput simulation. This individual will join a team of dedicated professionals who share a common goal of creating the world's most advanced physics engine, a critical component in the development of robust robot controllers and controller-hardware co-optimization. By leveraging their expertise, the ideal candidate will play a key role in driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in robotics and AI. What You'll Do

$88,000 - $198,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
