What to Expect
Join Tesla's Autopilot Technical Operations team and become part of the backbone that powers the future of autonomous driving. As part of the Tech Ops Team, you'll be at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and operational excellence, supporting the teams that are revolutionizing transportation. While being an integral part of the 24/7 Autopilot Dispatch team, you'll collaborate directly with all other parts of Tech Ops - from teams overseeing our extensive Autopilot test fleet and managing critical data collection to the engineers pioneering revolutionary technologies like FSD and Robotaxi - while implementing solutions that drive efficiency throughout Tech Ops.

What You'll Do
  • Provide hands-on support to the Autopilot Dispatch team, enhancing their 24/7 coordination of test requests, software rollouts and more
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement technical solutions that boost operational efficiency
  • Create powerful automations that optimize essential Autopilot Technical Operations workflows
  • Streamline data upload systems for large-scale test data from engineering and operations teams

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent, with strong programming skills (Python, JavaScript, or C++), or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Git or similar version control systems
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software development processes
  • A desire to move fast, fight fires, and fix problems without being asked; ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment with high ambiguity
  • Proven track record of exceptional ability (i.e., have personally solved difficult problems that have moved the needle on meaningful projects)

    Expected Compensation
    $100,000 - $150,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
