Description
POSITION SUMMARY: The position is responsible for the marketing communications, product management, and sales support of Digirad Imaging product line. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential functions satisfactorily. Technical Learning & Communication
- Attend formal factory training classes to learn and understand all facets of the product.
- Perform Clinical Applications Training at customer sites for all Digirad Products, inclusive of camera operations, software applications, and clinical applications.
- Provide education and in-service training on all facets of acquisition, processing, display, protocols, DICOM interface, and patient position.
- Prepare and present instructional technical materials, including, but not limited to:
- User Manuals for all products.
- Instructional guidelines.
- Software and written applications materials.
Product Management Support
- Provide marketing input to product management regarding product requirements.
- Support product roll-out process (marketing materials, reference site development).
- Support market research activities required to define new product requirements.
- Support, when appropriate, clinical trials and clinical validation of new products.
- Collaborate with senior management regarding ongoing business results and the impact on interim adjustments to company-wide strategic planning.
Sales Support
- Assist with sales and technical training courses, materials, and collateral pieces for all employees and end-use4rs.
- Perform demonstrations and training on products to assist Digirad's sales organization(s) in achieving maximum product sales penetration.
- Assist Digirad's marketing organization to develop appropriate audience collateral materials for market preparation, introduction, launch, and maintenance.
- Ability to follow-through on deadlines, assuming responsibility and using good judgment with business decisions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively and diplomatically navigate with internal and external customers both orally and in writing.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, and/or prior product applications experience.
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in related field
- Coursework and training in industry-specific marketing methods and techniques
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed primarily in an office setting with occasional visits to warehouse and clinical settings to perform duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
Physical Demands:
- Some walking and lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required.
