Job Description General Summary: The Senior Director, US Heme Marketing, Activation Strategy and Patient Education leads the Marketing team for the US Heme Business Unit, supporting gene therapy for sickle cell disease (SCD) and transfusion dependent thalassemia (TDT). This individual is accountable for understanding the market landscape and Vertex's position within the market, actively contributing to defining the strategic and performance goals of the portfolio, and tracking performance against those goals. This role manages a large marketing team as well as the ATC Activation Engagement team and Patient Educator field team. This role reports to the Vice President of the US Heme Business Unit. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of impact in US commercial roles, demonstrated success in leading and developing high performing teams, and the ability to operate with a strong sense of urgency and thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment. #LI-KW1 Pay Range: $225,600 - $338,400Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting.
