Operations Support EMR Training Coordinator

Summary

The Operations Support Training Database Specialist is responsible for the coordination, maintenance, and scheduling of the PointCare training database for acquisition employees as well as new hires.

This role will also be available as needed to educate and support employees of new acquisition sites as well as current locations on all aspects of LHC processes, policies, and applicable clinical software in a professional, clear, and concise way.



Responsibilities

  • Ability to independently manage the electronic medical record PointCare training database by creating generic workers/applicable workflow for training of field and back-office staff for home health and hospice service lines.
  • Works in collaboration with Business Managers to set up PointCare training database on tablet for new hire staff.
  • Collaborates with operations and operations support teams to identify electronic medical record training needs and help to develop training plans specifically designed to meet identified needs, ensuring understanding and application of relevant training.
  • Provides instructions for new hire employees regarding log-in process for the training database and how to re-start visits for multiple uses.
  • Collaborates with new hires and/or Business Managers to remove PointCare training database access once training is completed.
  • Completes database refresh to align with electronic medical record upgrades.
  • Maintains an adequate number of generic workers in the electronic medical record database to serve the training needs identified.
  • Assists with other department duties as assigned.



Education and Experience

Job Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree

* Minimum of 2 years of experience with related duties

Skill Requirements:

* Must be detail oriented.

* Must have excellent organizational skills.

* Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Must have excellent computer skills.

* Must have excellent Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.

* Must be proficient in all other Microsoft Office products.

* Prefer to have knowledge of project management techniques and tools
