Job Title: Teaching Assistant/ Teacher Aide Pay rate: $16.00/hr. on w2 without benefits Location: Cranston 02920 RI Duration: 09+ Months Roles and Responsibilities: To assist educators in providing instruction to incarcerated learners and maintaining a safe, structured learning environment. To support certified instructors in delivering academic lessons to students with IEP's. Required Skills: Prior experience working with students who have IEP's or in a correctional education setting Prior experience reinforcing academic lessons, providing one-on-one or small group support, and using accommodations or modifications as directed by certified instructors. Prior experience in classroom management, specifically maintaining a safe, respectful, and structured learning environment. Ability to effectively communicate with educators, students, and facility staff, adapting communication styles to meet diverse learner needs. Required Education: Associate's Degree
