Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): First shift 5:15 am - 3:45 pm; Second shift 3:45 pm - 2:15 am

Job Description:

  • Perform as a machine owner and possess the capabilities to start up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and shutdown a variety of production machinery/equipment while following safety expectations. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality-oriented, along with proven adaptability and willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, manufacturing work environment that meets strict quality and safety standards


Role & Responsibilities:

  • This position will require cross-training on all jobs which may include Textor/Slicer, Power Pack Operator, Blast Attendant, and Case Packer Utility.
  • Efficiently capable of startup, operating, and shutting down different machines, video jet coders and/or conveying systems.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures while following all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)!
  • Participates and provides feedback to the team during DDS (Daily Direction Setting) meetings.
  • Maintains good housekeeping!
  • Employee will be required to operate a powered industrial truck and attain certification.
  • Must be able to complete inventory tickets and supply requisitions.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time; be able to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Troubleshoot and mechanically adjust equipment on HMI screens.
  • Must have good communication skills in English.
  • Must be able to work effectively with minimum supervision.
  • Basic functions and theory of operations of the Aagard.
  • Become LOTO certified.
  • Oversees quality issues and performs and promptly records quality checks.
  • Supervise mechanical operation of machinery, including clearing equipment jams machines.
  • Capable of maintaining and understanding of home settings, standard work and maintaining 5S in area of ownership.


Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
  • Computer/electronic data processing skills.
  • Good time-management and mathematical skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical and organizational skills.


Work Environment & Schedule:

  • This position is considered a Manufacturing plant environment with heavy machinery and equipment Additionally, this role requires A minimum of 40 hours per week and overtime as needed. Must have the flexibility to adjust shift schedule to work with employees on other shifts. (Work is indoors, Primary production floor is wet, Secondary locations are occasionally wet, seasonal climate). Must wear following PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): (bump cap/hard hat, safety glasses, slip resistant safety shoes, hair net, ear plugs). 10-hour shift schedule: First shift 5:15 am - 3:45 pm; Second shift 3:45 pm - 2:15 am
