Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Location: 1460 Garrott Ave. Moncks Corner, SC 29461 Shift: 2^nd - 3PM-1:30AM (need to be open to training on 1st shift) Duration: 3 to 6 Months Pay Rate: $17/hr. on w2 without benefits Role & Responsibilities: Following established procedures, responsibilities may include some or all of the following: Performs basic assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment. Records test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters. Interprets blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives. Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specification. Assembles/tests to customer and/or industry standards. Performs touch-up or full surface painting of parts with finishing materials such as paint, lacquer, glaze, etc. Mixes paint and cleans parts. Support braze furnace operating procedures such as performing chart verifications and basic TPM on equipment Actively participates in lean initiatives by identifying and providing suggestions on areas for improvement. Ensures equipment is calibrated in accordance with calibration schedule. Required Qualification: High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of general mechanical work experience preferred. May be required to lift up to 35 lbs.
