The Opportunity We are seeking an Assistant, Business Development & Marketing to join our Washington, D.C. office. The Assistant, Business Development & Marketing provides administrative and operational support to the Washington, D.C. Office (DCO) Business Development & Marketing Department, conducts research, handles data entry and assists with producing preparing proposals and pitches that reinforce the firm's brand. Please note that the Firm will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
Provides a high level of attention to detail and flexibility assisting department with a variety of administrative tasks, some of which are complex and time sensitive to include, but are not limited to: business development, calendaring/scheduling, document management, conference services, and collaborating with Firm departments and team members to ensure superior client service. Assist in the preparation and delivery of pitches, proposals, and RFP responses, including coordinating bio updates, document signatures, print production, and proposal assembly. Conduct basic research, formatting, proofreading, and maintain a library of marketing collateral. Assists with database entry of DCO marketing/events activities, Firm experience/Foundation entries, Interaction database entries, event tracking and producing reports as needed. Manage files, spreadsheets, and folders related to pitch/RFP tracking, event entries, directory submissions, Firm press announcements, and other materials. Handle scheduling and administrative tasks for Business Development & Marketing Department meetings, including Chambers interviews and attorney headshot sessions with the Firm photographer. Process invoices, place orders, and maintain Department-wide records. Manage ad requests related to charitable contributions, liaising with the global design team and external organizations. Manages relationship with Firm photographer, and organizes and schedules attorney headshot sessions. Manages ad requests related to charitable contributions; liaises with global design team and organization. Coordinates logistics for in-house and virtual meetings (e.g., conference room scheduling, audio/visual requests, calendar invites). Handles scheduling and other administrative tasks related to Business Development & Marketing Department meetings and coordinates other related meetings involving marketing (i.e., Chambers interviews). Assists Business Development & Marketing Department personnel with filing, research, and other administrative tasks. Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others. Manages Firm resources responsibly. Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies, and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law. Salary Details $70,000 - $75,000
