Position Overview
CDO Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support the security of mission-critical systems by conducting security testing, performing vulnerability assessments, and delivering actionable insights to strengthen system defenses. You will work closely with technical teams, leadership, and clients to identify risks, recommend mitigations, and support compliance with federal and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct security functional requirements testing and assessments of information systems.
  • Perform periodic vulnerability scans and analyze results for potential risks.
  • Monitor trends in software security assessment data to identify and address frequent insecure practices.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, briefings, and knowledge transfer sessions to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and interpret test data from functional and security testing to develop recommendations for remediation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams to ensure security compliance and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

  • An active Top Secret security clearance is required.
  • A relevant Associate Degree is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related IT security roles is required.
  • An active Security+ Certification is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in security testing, vulnerability scanning, and risk analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with NIST, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity guidelines.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools and security assessment platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments with minimal supervision.

CDO's total compensation for each position is negotiated within an established range. The final compensation will be determined by demonstrated skills and experience.
