Location:

Linthicum Heights, MD - Filling industrial How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? This position performs routine tasks in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining quality standards and following all company policies and procedures. The employee will be expected to work independently, make decisions based on established practices and procedures and have contact with other departments within the organization.

1. Load cylinders into delivery trucks or railcars according to specified route schedules.
2. Inspect for leaks by use of soap solution on valve stems, visually inspect for dents, rust, etc., weigh cylinders to detect underfills or overfills.
3. Fill out manifest sheet correctly for each load.
4. Prepare written reports as required.
5. Keep accurate records as required.
6. Operate fork lift or other material handling equipment as needed.
7. Keep work area clean and free of hazards at all times.
8. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
9. Follow all safety rules and regulations.
10. Participate in periodic safety meetings.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical examination given by Company physician.

  • Must be able to perform work safely and efficiently.

  • Must be able to drive motor vehicle (where applicable).

  • Must be willing to work extra hours when necessary.

  • Must be able to get along with fellow employees.

  • Must be able to follow instructions and work under supervision.

  • Must be able to do simple math and read and write English language.

Pay range: $24-26 per hour
