Duties/Responsibilities
- Reviews and monitors TCS/CSC system reports and toll operations intervention reports on a daily basis and reports system and transaction processing errors to the Senior Manager of Toll Technology.
- Reviews and monitors TCS lane messages in the TCS Host for equipment malfunctions and resolution of same.
- Assists in ensuring that KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) in place are being met, maintenance is being performed as expected by 3rd Party System Integrator's technicians and service expectations are being met.
- Recommends performance improvement opportunities to optimize customer experience and keeps up with industry trends that may be beneficial to OTIC operations and provide the best experience possible for our customers.
- Participates in the planning and development of back-office customer service and roadside toll collection equipment/system projects.
- Reviews root cause analysis and corrective action plans for back-office customer service and roadside toll collection equipment/systems.
- Participates in the design, installation, and quality assurance testing of Toll Collections Systems and Customer Service Center systems.
- Monitors inventory and maintenance conditions of roadside toll collection equipment/systems.
- Performs field verification surveys as necessary to ensure contract compliance and system performance.
- Provides technical direction in the resolution of unique and complex problems.
- Assists the Senior Manager - Toll Technology in administrative matters.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager of Toll Technology.

- Knowledge of toll system software and hardware.
- Knowledge of Toll Systems and subsystems that together create a fully functional tolling solution.
- Skilled in change control, change management and quality assurance standards
- Ability to process information logically and solve problems and communicate verbally and in writing on technical and non-technical matters.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
- Ability to prepare technical presentations.
- Ability to understand contract documents and specifications for commodities and services.
- Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of various software systems on multiple platforms (database theory and design; data network operation and design; technology systems testing procedures).
- Knowledge of hardware, software, network components, requirements development, systems design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Skill in operation of a personal computer or mobile device and peripheral equipment.
- Ability to maintain security and confidentiality of data files.
- Ability to comprehend technical material, troubleshoot and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and resolve technical issues, develop system documentation,

- Ability to coordinate and establish effective working relationships with a wide variety of disciplines to achieve an appropriate solution providing the necessary resources for all departments.

- Ability to interact and communicate effectively orally and in writing with vendors, the public and OTIC employees. Knowledge of technology project management and planning methodologies to successfully deliver technology projects on time and on budget. Attention to detail is of high importance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or a related field) or equivalent work experience required.
- Must possess a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in project management, systems integration, investigating new technology, establishing operational efficiencies, data management and systems security.
- Prior experience with toll systems, electronic toll collection systems, customer relationship management or retail payment transactions is strongly preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills required.

Unusual Working Conditions
- The work environment is typically an office setting but will require some tasks be completed from field locations.
- Must be able to travel to Turnpike facilities across the state and may on occasion be required to travel out of town.
- Employee may be required to be on-call 24 hours, 7 days a week to maintain operations; work involves sitting for prolonged periods of time.
