We're seeking a Controller for a $2B Corporation going thru Year End, SAP S4 Hana Implementation needs coverage.

Staff is 15 -20 directs with support staff in India reporting to some of your managers (30-40)

Oversight of the CLOSE, Financial Packages, Taxation(team of 4), Interact with Treasury.Assist with Controls Audit Is outsourced

HANDS ON.There is a lot going on there fast paced environment the assistant controller is great but not ready for the next step.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP or other applicable standards.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, including SEC reporting requirements, tax laws, and internal compliance policies.

Audit Management:

  • Direct internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared, complete, and accurate. Act as the primary liaison with external auditors.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Strong background in financial reporting for public companies, including SEC reporting (preferred).
  • Experience working in large, complex organizations, ideally at or above the billion-dollar revenue level.

Technical Expertise:

  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools.

Leadership Skills:

  • Proven leader able to inspire, develop, and manage a team of accounting professionals.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Attention to Detail:

  • Exceptional accuracy and precision in financial reporting with strong analytical skills.

Strategic Thinking:

  • Ability to provide big-picture insights while mastering complex financial details.

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,

Salary Compensation

$125 -$135 per hour$ per year

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan
