Job Title:Product Engineering Summer Intern

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Product Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer. The intern will support the design, development, testing, and improvement of products through hands-on work and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to real product development initiatives while gaining valuable engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design and development of new products or product improvements.
  • Create and update CAD models, drawings, and documentation.
  • Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities.
  • Analyze performance data and contribute to root cause analysis for design or manufacturing issues.
  • Collaborate with teams in manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and marketing to ensure product goals are met.
  • Help prepare technical reports, test plans, and presentation materials.
  • Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Completion of at least 1years of relevant coursework.
  • Basic knowledge of product development lifecycle and engineering design principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools or additive manufacturing.
  • Experience with FEA, CFD, or other engineering analysis tools.
  • Prior internship or project experience in product development.
