Are you a visionary leader ready to drive innovation at the cutting edge of semiconductor technology? KLA is seeking aSystems Engineering Managerto lead a high-impact team focused on the development and continuous improvement of our advanced eBeam systems.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of breakthrough product development, guiding a talented team of systems engineers and collaborating across optics, electronics, mechanics, software, and algorithms. You'll work closely with division leadership, external partners, and customers to deliver solutions that push boundaries and exceed expectations.

What You'll Own:

  • Lead and mentor a team of systems design engineers responsible for integrating hardware and software on complex eBeam tools.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and lead design reviews to ensure optimal system architecture.
  • Spearhead next-generation product development with bold, strategic thinking and a focus on delivering winning solutions.
  • Oversee prototype testing, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies that guide product lifecycle decisions.
  • Support customer escalations with technical expertise and a commitment to excellence.
  • Champion onboarding and development for new systems engineers, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in electron optics or SEM technology, with strong foundations in physics, mathematics, and computational skills.
  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering for complex semiconductor systems.
  • 3+ years of proven success in people management and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead across functions and engage with global stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel globally up to 15%.
Base Pay Range: $163,000.00 - $277,100.00 Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA KLA's total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.

Interns are eligible for some of the benefits listed. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the pay for this position in the primary location identified in this posting. Actual pay depends on several factors, including state minimum pay wage rates, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education level or training.
