Essential Functions of Employment with DLO: Show up for work, on time & prepared each and every scheduled work day Perform all tasks and processes assigned to you including all tasks and processes you are fully qualified to perform and all tasks and processing that you may be over-qualified to perform Maintain a positive and supportive attitude throughout each and every scheduled work day & work as a collaborative team member with your fellow teammates on a daily basis

There is a potential that hours and testing location may vary.

Responsible for performing routine and non-routine activities pertaining to laboratory testing and the reporting of results. Performs moderately difficult to complex tasks. Performs assigned analytical testing procedures in an accurate, precise, and timely manner. Assist with processing as needed to facilitate good patient care. Follow employer policies, work with fellow employees in a professional, productive manner, and perform instrument maintenance as scheduled and troubleshooting as needed.

General laboratory knowledge, including good computer skills and be able to adapt to multiple computer systems. Must have knowledge of QA and QC as well as knowledge of all areas of the laboratory.

Must have 3 years' experience in Lab environment. Position requires data background w/ abilities to enter 6000 keystrokes/hour.Training background preferred.

Ability to maintain a professional, courteous and pleasant attitude in times of heavy workload and stress. Reflect the company's values in all aspects of performance.Teamwork with fellow employees is a must. Keyboard skills are important. Good customer service skills, professional appearance and attitude are required. Be willing to work overtime or other shifts if required and potential weekend and holiday rotations as well.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Position requires data background with abilities to enter 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes/hour
• Works in a biohazard environment, practicing good safety habits
• Able to sit or stand for long periods
• Handles multiple tasks simultaneously and works in a production environment
