Manager Mechanical Maintenance Welspun Pipes, Inc seeks Manager Mechanical Maintenance to work in the Little Rock Metropolitan Area, including 9301 Frazier Pike, Little Rock, AR 72206. DUTIES: Responsible for coordinating and directing the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment and machinery by performing duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Supervise the General Supervisor of Mechanical Maintenance, as well as indirect supervisors and technicians. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, firing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Detailed job duties are as follows: Successfully implement maintenance and reliability systems throughout the plant: PM, TPM, Workplace Organization, etc. Train Supervisors, Engineers, and Technicians related to Maintenance techniques, Job Safety Analysis, Lockout & Tags, etc. Plan routine maintenance, breakdown analysis, and corrective/preventive action plan and implementation with the help of supervisors and engineers. Prepare annual budget and monitor and control the expenses for the department. In-house development of imported spares. Oversee and direct maintenance supervisors/engineers who engage in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventative maintenance of High Frequency Welded pipe manufacturing equipment. Development of vendors. Ensure the availability of parts for maintenance and coordinate with department planner and procurement. Upgradation of the equipment for debottlenecking the process. Project and development function meant for productivity improvement and cost reduction. Implementation of SAP in maintenance department. Implement OSHA standards in work culture to achieve zero recordable injury. Inspect construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications. Direct maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventative maintenance. Responsible for energy management and conservation function. REQUIRES: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related closely related field; 5 years of experience (60 months) in Associate General Manager - Maintenance & Energy, General Manager - Maintenance & Energy, Manager - Maintenance and Engineering, Manager - Mechanical Maintenance, or closely related position. Must have at least one year of experience working on Maintenance of Coil Slitting Lines, Coating Plants, End Facer, Hydro-Testing Machines, Material Handling Systems and EOT Cranes. (Alternative: High School Diploma / GED or equivalent; 7 years of experience (84 months) in Associate General Manager - Maintenance & Energy, General Manager - Maintenance & Energy, Manager - Maintenance and Engineering, Manager - Mechanical Maintenance, or closely related position.
