Senior Project Manager

Bolton & Menk has an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our expanding Land Development team. In this position, you will lead and grow teams creating Safe, Creative and Sustainable communities through generating opportunities, master planning, entitlements, site and utility design mentorship, construction document quality control, and construction administration for public and private development, to include but not limited to, residential and multi-family developments, commercial and industrial developments, and mixed-use developments across the Southeast. The position will be located in our Charlotte office where you will have a great team of professionals around you.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Responsible for the management planning, scheduling and performance of multiple projects and personnel.
• Serve as Client Service Manager, primary client contact, and responsible for problem resolutions related to projects.
• Identifies the project scope and participates in the contract negotiation.
• Develops and monitors project budgets and implements corrective action if appropriate.
• Supervises, mentors, trains, and reviews design, construction and administration phases.
• Analyzes environmental reports on land conditions, such as drainage and energy use.
• Performs business development activities (i.e. networking, professional organization membership/leadership, RFP pursuits, presentations, preparation of proposals).
• Responsible for developing and implementing appropriate marketing plans.
• Approves and presents preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Maintains liaison relationships with regulatory agencies.
• Travels to work sites and other project related locations as necessary.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college program.
• Registered as a Professional Professional Engineer
• Thorough knowledge and skills in CAD and Civil 3D, and related software
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with active listening.
• Possesses excellent time management skills.
• Possess a valid driver's license as travel to various job sites may be required.
• Project management experience preferred.
