Position: Contract Program Manager (CPM) Location: Arlington, VA Clearance: Public Trust (Risk: Moderate) Job Description: The CPM shall serve as the contractor's overall manager and shall be the contractor's authorized interface. The CPM shall provide overall leadership and guidance for all personnel assigned to the call order including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall call order performance. The CPM performs supervision and direction to ensure quality deliverables while managing investments, costs, scheduling, technical capabilities, strategy alignment, and resources. The CPM collaborates with the Government Chief Information Officer and Senior IT Staff and performs work independently to ensure that Government organizational goals, program goals, IT high level objectives and performance requirements are met. The CPM is authorized to commit the Contractor's organization in response to Government issues, concerns, or problems. The CPM must be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues, including situations that may compromise the Contractor's ability to provide services. The CPM has direct past experience within two (2) years of a candidate being on- board in the position. Requirements
It is required that the CPM has the following qualifications: * Possess a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management, or a related field at time of proposal submission. * Possess a minimum of ten (10) years of recent experience providing program management similar to the work described and compliance with industry best practices. * Experience with the management, utilization, quality assurance, and supervision of employees (including subcontractors) of various labor categories and skills in projects similar to the Project requirement. * Possess a current Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
