Information Management Management leads and directs the development, improvement, and sustainment of the Information Management Program. Advises the LM client using a trusted-advisor mindset to achieve client needs and objectives.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Provide leadership for the Information Management Program, and acts as Senior Manager for the TFE Contract.
  2. Advises the LM Client, LMS Program Manager, and Senior staff on Information Governance, Information Management, and Records Management.
  3. Builds and maintains a strong, long-lasting trusted advisor relationship with the LM client, key stakeholders, and customers.
  4. Ensures the timely and successful delivery of project deliverables, tasks, and assignment according to client and customer needs and objectives.
  5. Prepares and delivers Information Governance practice to workgroups, councils, steering committees, and other thought leadership events that demonstrates a high acumen regarding information governance services and technology impacts to LMS.
  6. Understands the impact of enterprise access and use of information in information systems as it relates to information governance, electronic discovery, data management, data protection, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  7. Protect and identify sensitive information from unauthorized disclosure according to Government regulations and guidance.
  8. Assist with identification of challenges and efficiencies related to job duties and suggest process improvements related to position or team.
  9. As the TFE Senior Manager, acts as the key liaison between TFE corporate and TFE contract staff regarding staff development, budget, payroll, human resources, project updates, communications, hiring, performance, disciplinary action, and contract concerns.
  10. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in business, science, or related field with 9 years experience dealing with business and organizational issues is required.

or

Master's Degree with 7 years dealing with business and organizational issues is preferred.

Certified Records Manager (CRM), Information Governance Professional (IGP), Certified Information Professional (CIP), Six Sigma, Project Management Professional, or Business Analyst is a plus.

Skills/Abilities

  1. Understands the basic principles, concepts, and techniques for managing records through all phases of the lifecycle.
  2. Resolve situations daily, utilizing problem-solving skills, and provide follow-up to client, customers, and management.
  3. Ability to perform complex professional tasks independently and as a team with other senior management.
  4. Ability to work with broad objectives, with some latitude, to determine the best way to accomplish tasks.
  5. Level of language skills, communications skills, reasoning ability, technical skills, and computer skills necessary to perform functions of the position.
  6. Ability to deliver client-focused solution based on client needs.
  7. Advise teams on the application of information management policies and procedures, including creation, use, retention, and disposition of information.
  8. Develop and maintain the IM Budget.
  9. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  10. Leads with an open and questioning mindset and promotes physiological safety practices within LMS.
  11. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  12. Demonstrated problem solving, analytical, and team building skills required.
  13. Collaborative, transparent leader that brings solutions for complex problems.
  14. Ability to manage and develop client relationship.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary: Work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs may be defined as sedentary when walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
