ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

1. Responsible for decisions and designs made by members of the team.

2. Examine new product specifications and designs, special customer applications or modifications for sound engineering principles and make recommendations.

3. Provide sales with specifications, product details, operating parameters, and any revisions or corrections necessary to ensure quality of product.

4. Responsible for placement of POs, and method of execution such as internal or external manufacturing.

5. Final selection of supply sources and method of manufacture based on Sr. Project Manager's information.

6. Coordinate product design with manufacturing by providing all necessary drawings and instructions to manufacture and test prior to shipment

7. Interface with the service department to provide necessary drawings, instructions, etc., to facilitate installation, repair and service of equipment at customer locations.

8. Communicate directly with customers to determine needs and applications related to the project.

9. Responsible for communicating with sales, purchasing and manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery.

10. Responsible to Plan the project, monitor and execute the project which includes beyond Engineering Activities, a detailed MS Project Gant Chart, using Navision and MS X-Cell develop and maintain Financial Status with Monthly updates reported to the Senior Project Manager and VP and Engineering.

11. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

Requires an engineering degree or equivalent experience. Minimum five years' previous experience. Previous experience in Capital Goods, Machine Design and Control Systems, Managing Project Teams. Proficient with Microsoft X - Cell, Project Manager, Word and Power Point. Experience with AutoDesk/AutoCad and Inventor solid modeling software. Previous Project management experience to schedule, budget, customer communications/documentations and field service experience desirable.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, customer specifications and blueprints. Ability to write reports and job specifications. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and other employees of the Company.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
