As a Recruiter at Alliance Ground International (AGI), you will play a critical role in attracting, selecting, and onboarding qualified candidates to support our operational success.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the organization.

  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending job offers to qualified candidates.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, networking events, social media, and referrals.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and define job requirements.

  • Post job advertisements on relevant platforms and ensure job descriptions are accurate and appealing.

  • Review resumes, conduct phone screenings, and schedule interviews with hiring managers.

  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.

  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement in the hiring process.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws throughout the recruitment process.

  • Attend career fairs and community outreach events to promote the company and recruit potential candidates.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

  • Cooperate with their manager/supervisor to ensure compliance with any legal requirements imposed on the company.

  • Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific safety or security rules or procedures.

  • Fully understand AGI's Health, Safety, and Security policies.

  • Attend training courses as required by AGI.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Ability to travel as needed to attend career fairs or other recruitment events.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, via email, and over the phone.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment and talent acquisition best practices.

  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple openings simultaneously.

  • Ability to identify and attract high-quality candidates in a competitive job market.

  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.

  • Experience in the aviation or transportation industry is a plus.

  • If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001.
