Primary Work Location: Hybrid Normal Work Schedule: Up to 20 hours weekly M-F from 8:30 am-5:00 pm. Job Summary: The UMass President's Office is looking for a current UMass undergraduate student to fill a part-time internship position with the Access Team: Administration and Finance Support Services. This role will be based in a hybrid office environment on one of the UMass campuses. The internship offers a pay rate of $17 per hour, and academic credit may also be available. There may be opportunities to increase hours during academic breaks, such as in the summer break. The Communications team is a fast-paced environment that oversees the communications and change management efforts across several support functions under the Administrative and Finance Division. As a communications intern, you will work closely with the team to assist with various digital and in-person communication and change efforts. The communications intern will be integral to the department's daily activities and will gain valuable experience and exposure to established and emerging internal and external communications and practices. The communications intern will report to the Communication Manager. Essential Functions:
