We are looking for ambitious achievers to join our 2026 Kickstart Internship Program!


As an accounting intern you will get the opportunity to rotate through our different accounting groups including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial planning, payroll, and corporate accounting. Your work will support project teams providing solutions for water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment, and recycled water planning and implementation issues that our water environment, transportation, and industrial sector clients are facing.

A Day in the Life of an Accounting Intern:



  • Understanding of how project data is used to invoice clients
  • Turning financial data into useable reports for management and stakeholders
  • Working with the finance team to manage an accounting system upgrade
  • Understanding how timesheets turn into paycheck and how different state rules and regulations affect payroll
  • Processing client payments and paying our vendors



Qualifications:



  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Completion of a minimum of junior (third-year) standing in an accredited engineering program
  • Experience using Excel and other Microsoft 365 Applications



Pay rate for this position is anticipated to be $20 to $25 per hour, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, skills, licensure/certifications, seniority, geographic location, and performance.
