Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is critical in supporting our Procurement Department and existing commercial, municipal, local, state, and federal subcontracting activities across our Central Business Units.

The Procurement Specialist will help ensure the effective and compliant execution of the full procurement lifecycle-from vendor identification to purchase order closeout-playing a key role in project success.



Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with Project Managers and technical staff to align procurement actions with project goals and contract requirements.



  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including FAR and DFARS for federal contracts.



  • Prepare and issue procurement documents including RFPs, amendments, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders/modifications.



  • Evaluate vendor proposals and conduct subcontractor negotiations.



  • Identify complex or high-risk procurement issues and work with leadership to develop mitigation strategies.



  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all procurement activities.





Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and/or NCMA certification preferred.



  • 1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement or subcontract administration.



  • Experience with various subcontract service order types and understanding of contract types (e.g., FFP, T&M, CP).



  • Familiarity with private and public sector acquisition and procurement strategies.



  • Working knowledge of FAR and federal contracting vehicles.



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Pay Range
$45,000 $65,000 USD

The EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary. Factors considered when making an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, and compliance with federal and state laws.
