Job Description
Pitt County Government's Public Information Office - 1717 West 5th Street Greenville, NC 27834 -is currently seeking a Public Information Office Digital Marketing Specialist.

The Digital Marketing Specialist intern will support the Pitt County Public Information Office in advancing countywide communication and outreach efforts.

Key responsibilities include

  • Assisting with website updates as part of the site refresh project to meet new standards and ADA accessibility requirements,
  • Supporting the launch of the County's email marketing program
  • Contributing to creative design and communications initiatives.
  • The intern will also assist with digital marketing analytics, planning, and content creation across multiple channels, gaining hands-on experience in copywriting, strategy development, graphic design, web management, and data analysis.


This role offers interdepartmental collaboration and practical experience in digital communications, while ensuring content remains accessible, engaging, and consistent with Pitt County branding and messaging.

The position reports to the Public Information Office Digital Marketing Specialist.

Expected to work 15-20 hours per week.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
