Engineering Coordinator

Growing global manufacturer is looking for an Engineering Coordinator to support their capital projects group. This position will be responsible for entering the capital authorization requests, updating monthly budget reporting, and coordination with accounting and controlling on capitalizations.

The team is very innovative and the work is fulfilling. Their leadership is knowledgeable, engaged and supportive. This position is M-F 8am-5pm. Hybrid with ability to work some days at home. This is a long term temporary opportunity(1+ year) with potential for extension and if a position opens up potential for conversion. Pay is between $25/hr. -$31/hr.

Responsibilities:



  • Provide general support for supported groups includes reporting engineering time allocations with accounting, procurement activities including purchase request entry and tracking
  • Tracking invoicing with AP department
  • Coordinate and monitor requests for new contractors, and monitoring approved status of existing contractors.

    Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures to monitor and maintain compliance to the required standards.
  • Collect data and generate reporting for procedural improvements related to these activities.


Requirements:



  • High School Diploma, Associates Degree in business or related field preferred
  • Previous administrative experience supporting an engineering team or capital project team
  • SAP experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to achieve full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations.
