Advantage xPO is hiring a Maintenance Technician in San Bernardino, CA! We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair commercial property systems. This role involves both hands-on repair work and coordinating with subcontractors to keep facilities running smoothly and safely. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Pay: $23 - $25 per hour (based on experience) Responsibilities: Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on time and with accuracy. Perform light electrical work (emergency lights, exit signs, lamp sweeps). Maintain and repair plumbing systems. Handle interior/exterior building repairs, including painting, tile, and finish work. Operate scissor and boom lifts, as well as ladders, for lighting replacement and facility tasks. Assist with general upkeep such as trash removal and minor landscaping. Accurately complete and submit reports and work orders. Respond to emergency calls and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Qualifications: GED or equivalent; technical trade school or related training preferred. 2-5 years of maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry). Valid driver's license. Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions, safety rules, and SOPs. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability. Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks (standing, climbing, crawling, etc.). Scissor or boom lift certification preferred. Strong communication and time management skills; able to work independently.
