Logistics Acquisition Specialist The Opportunity: Your combination of people skills and logistics expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. We're looking for a logistics acquisition specialist todevelop logistics plans by analyzing contractual obligations, customer requirements, and design changes from initiation to the end of the product's life. You'll design or evaluate support strategies for capability acquisitions and deliveries, and manage supply chain tasks, including purchasing materials, planning production, maintaining inventory, selecting vendors, and overseeing distribution. You'll establish cohesive procedures among internal teams and external suppliers, and ensure successful delivery and support of equipment, warranties, and training material as outlined in procurement details. You'll also utilize Department of Defense (DoD) 5000 series knowledge and Integrated Product Support Elements as per AR 700-127 to assist with logistics documentation and operations evaluations. As a logistics specialist on our team, you'll help identify the root cause of issues such as inventory management, storage space, and logistics functionality. You'll use your findings to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience with integrated systems and understanding of material specifications is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions. In this role, you'll use your engineering logistics and materials knowledge to contribute to the safety of the warfighter. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
