Position Summary

The Director, Client Strategy will support the Client Business Partners in generating new business, project and pipeline management, and forecasting of portfolio. They will focus on managing and growing existing relationships with agency partners and clients and will act as an Orion advocate internally and externally.

This individual should possess sales focus, excellent communication and presentation skills and should have an entrepreneurial and collaborative approach to work. They should be highly organized and able to work across a portfolio of multiple clients at any given time. Proven track record of success in sales is desirable, as well as experience in Media Investment, Planning, or Client Services/Strategy at an agency.


Responsibilities

  • Work with the CBP to develop strategic action plans and collaborate with other departments to look for areas of alignment between Orion services and client needs
  • Explore ways to maximize client billings and contributions towards Orion revenue goals
  • Support and oversee cross departmental communication and lead internal/external client and agency meetings to ensure Orion delivers the best service possible
  • Execute several quick-turnaround deliverables, manage savings reports, and lead agency onboarding calls regularly
  • Provide leadership and direction to dedicated Client Strategy and Media Investment teams
  • Communicate across internal teams to ensure deliverables are met in an efficient manner
  • Support CBP in implementing strategy to improve connectivity with all clients and agency partners to maximize Orion impact
  • Cultivate and maintain strong agency relationships
  • Oversee successful execution of Agency media campaigns including utilization of Orion partnerships and adherence to process
  • Deliver and track monthly savings and pacing reports per client and communicate with the appropriate agency teams
  • Conduct client research and analysis, and implement targeting strategies to secure new clients, or look for new opportunities with existing clients
  • Build and present onboarding decks for both agency and client teams
  • Supports CBP in management of all financial reporting and forecasting of client budgets and revenue, including Salesforce, trade credit statements and pipeline updates
  • Assist the CBP by partnering with legal and finance to negotiate contract terms and agreements with clients
  • Manage media evaluation process



Desired Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of sales, media, client services/strategy experience
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Must have the ability to manage a large variety and large number of accounts
  • Must be articulate, persuasive and possess solid business instincts and diplomatic skills
  • Solid relationship-building skills
  • Candidate must be innovative, act as a team player, and possess strong business acumen and the ability to manage key relationships to help drive business growth
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Salesforce.comexperience is a plus

The salary range for this position is posted below.
