Project Management Specialist

Chuck E. Cheese is seeking a Project Management Specialist to join our Strategic Projects team in Irving, Texas, reporting to the Director, Marketing & Strategic Initiatives. In this role, you'll coordinate and support initiatives that drive marketing, operations, and consumer experience, while gaining diverse exposure and hands-on learning through mentorship.

This role is designed for professionals eager to develop expertise in project management, with access to mentorship, training, and exposure to high-impact initiatives. From helping open new arcades to supporting the rollout of innovative attractions, you'll ensure projects are well-organized, executed on time, and aligned with business goals. The hands-on experience gained in this role contributes toward the practical experience requirements for PMP certification, making it a strong foundation for candidates interested in pursuing that credential.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from requirements gathering through launch, ensuring deliverables stay on track and meet quality standards.

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to support timely, accurate, and thorough project execution.

• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and critical details.

• Track project milestones, prepare status reports, and identify or escalate potential risks with careful attention to detail.

• Ensure accuracy and clarity in all project deliverables, communications, and documentation.

• Leverage established templates, communication frameworks, and tracking tools to deliver consistent results.

• Provide operational support for the Strategic Projects team to help achieve department objectives with precision and accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills

• 1+ years of experience in project coordination, business operations, or related roles (equivalent experience considered).

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders at various levels.

• Familiarity with or willingness to learn project management tools (Smartsheet, Microsoft Office 365, Visio).

• Ability to anticipate issues and apply problem-solving skills to maintain progress.

• Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute as part of a team.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).

• Experience in multi-unit brands, restaurants, or family entertainment environments is a plus.

Work Environment

• Based at CEC Entertainment's corporate offices in Irving, Texas.

• Regular collaboration with team members across all levels of the organization, as well as external partners.

• Requires professionalism, accuracy, and strong customer service orientation.

• Occasional travel may be required.
