Essential Job Duties |
The
Temporary Learning and Engagement Coordinator is a hybrid position that will support the day-to-day operations, programming, and student engagement efforts for the Albright Entrepreneurs Village (
AEV), a living-learning community focused on innovation and entrepreneurship. This role bridges University Housing and NC State's Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IE) programs, ensuring seamless student support, program delivery, and alignment with residential learning objectives. This position also supports IE Curricular Programs, working closely with the Director of
AEV and Student Learning. Additional responsibilities will include support of events, activities and programs that allow students to take their learning outside of the classroom through experiential learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Student & Staff Support
-Conduct biweekly 1-on-1 check-ins with Village Mentors to provide support and guidance
-Meet biweekly with the Residence Life Coordinator (
RLC) to align on housing-related matters
-Support the Graduate Assistant and work collaboratively with student staff
Program Administration
-Oversee and support planning and execution of Village programming and events
-Complete and submit ERezLife forms for all Village events
-Manage purchasing for Village needs (snacks, supplies, materials for events, etc.)
-Ensure events and programs align with the mission of the
AEV and IE
Campus Engagement
-Attend ResLife and Residential Learning community meetings
-Serve as a liaison between IE and University Housing staff
-Promote cross-campus collaboration and participation in IE and
AEV initiatives
IE Curricular Programs Support
-Support of events, activities and programs that allow students to take their learning outside of the classroom through experiential learning.
-Supports the Director of
AEV and Student Learning with curricular programs and partnerships. |
