Description

The College Counseling Proctor assists with the administration of large-scale, nationally standardized testing programs and/or classroom tests requiring special arrangements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the protection of secure, highly confidential and valuable documents by maintaining inventory, logs and testing files.
  • Count tests; place tests in numerical order; distribute answer sheets and test booklets.
  • Verify candidates' identification and seat them appropriately.
  • Check for breaches of test security and notify the supervisor in difficult situations.
  • Assist in clarifying test instructions for candidates.
  • Collect test materials at end of testing period.
Requirements
  • Able to work earnestly and cooperatively in a team environment with co-workers and to give and receive feedback on common tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google products and other school software
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and to show initiative
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • High School Diploma
  • Completion of one semester of standardized test administration; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved

  2. Required to stand, talk, hear, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms

  5. Must be able to use stairs
