This exciting faculty position offers diverse opportunities across clinical service, teaching, program development, and research. The psychologist will provide direct care to pediatric oncology, hematology, and bone marrow transplant patients and their families, spanning inpatient, outpatient, and survivorship settings. Clinical responsibilities include psychological assessments, brief interventions, and consultation with interdisciplinary teams. The role includes conducting assessments aligned with clinical research protocols including active involvement in Children's Oncology Group (COG) activities in collaboration with the Neuropsychology team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide direct clinical services, contribute to groundbreaking research, mentor future leaders in pediatric psychology, and lead wellness programming in a world-class multidisciplinary academic setting. The psychologist will also take a leadership role in CCBD's Wellness Team-providing clinical oversight, leading interdisciplinary case discussions, guiding program development (including inpatient and outpatient supportive programming), and contributing to team strategy, budget planning, and philanthropic collaboration. Key Responsibilities: * Delivery of evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention services to patients across all CCBD diagnostic groups including psychological assessments in support of clinical care and research protocols, including Children's Oncology Group (COG) studies. * Supervision of postdoctoral fellows, psychology interns, and practicum students * Educational contributions to medical trainees, including hematology/oncology fellows, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams * Design and supervision of psychology-related studies and mentor wellness-focused research conducted by psychology faculty * Support of faculty-led initiatives, advisement, and mentorship of research activities conducted by members of the Wellness Team within the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, with a specific focus on projects related to behavioral and mental health * Oversight and facilitation of both inpatient and outpatient patient-facing programming and operations including transition services |

Qualifications: |
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Assistant Professor
Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical Psychology Completion of an APA-accredited internship Postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a psychologist in Colorado prior to start date
Associate Professor
Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical Psychology Completion of an APA-accredited internship Postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology 7 years or more of clinical and/or research experience working in pediatric oncology Meritorious performance in teaching, scholarly and clinical activity. Excellence in teaching, research and/or clinical activity. Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a psychologist in Colorado prior to start date
Condition of Employment:
Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check Continuous Maintenance of Board Certification(s) once attained Meet all Children's Hospital Colorado credentialing requirements and continuous active medical staff status Maintain a current Colorado State Medical License and DEA certification.

Clinical and/or research experience with pediatric oncology populations is highly valued 5 or more years of specialized experience in Pediatric Oncology/Hematology/Bone Marrow Transplant, survivorship, and wellness programs 5 or more years in academic scholarship or research 5 or more years of clinical team support and leadership Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams Experience with Philanthropic partnerships Bilingual fluency in Spanish is desirable

Ability to collaborate professionally with all team members at all times, displaying exemplary interpersonal skills High customer service skills, team-based patient care, and ability to meet productivity targets are expected

Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: Assistant Professor: $105,000 to $122,000 Associate Professor: $131,000 to $150,000 The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
