Job Summary:

The AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. In the Business Services Department, interns will gain insight into sourcing and procurement best practices, with a focus on supplier data analytics and IT product research. The intern will collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Presents, and AEG Sports Teams, and contribute to strategic initiatives in the following areas:



  • Sourcing and negotiation
  • Supplier data analysis and reporting
  • Technology product research and purchasing
  • Purchase order creation
  • Forms and file management


Responsibilities:



  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives across departments
  • Assist IT with procurement-related data and performance metrics
  • Conduct supplier data analytics reviews and generate actionable reports
  • Research and evaluate technology products for procurement consideration
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback
  • Confirm vendor certification and/or membership status
  • Update department spreadsheets and procurement dashboards
  • Review and report on supply chain constraints and opportunities
  • Identify and assess potential vendors and product solutions
  • Process purchase orders, maintain filing systems, and track order status
  • Follow up with suppliers to confirm or adjust orders as needed
  • Provide support for various analyses and report creation


Qualifications:



  • Good customer service
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • The AEG Internship Program requires a minimum commitment of 18 hours per week during the fall.

Pay Scale: $19.00 - $21.00

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.

Benefits: Part-time: This position is not eligible for benefits.
