The Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of large, multi-site clinical research studies within the Department of Psychiatry. This role will provide overall coordination and leadership for study activities, supervise staff, monitor progress toward milestones, and ensure compliance with study protocols, IRB requirements, and sponsor guidelines. The Project Manager will work closely with investigators, research staff, and external partners to ensure the successful execution of clinical research projects. Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in biological sciences, health sciences, psychology, public health, or related field; Masters degree in Clinical Research, Public Health, Project Management, or related area preferred
- 2+ years of experience in clinical or behavioral health research required; 4+ years preferred
- Demonstrated project management experience, including staff supervision, budget tracking, and coordination of multi-site or complex projects
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including IRB processes, sponsor reporting, and human subjects protections
- Experience with participant recruitment and informed consent processes strongly desired
- Proficiency in project management tools and research platforms (e.g., REDCap, electronic data capture systems, Microsoft Project, or equivalent)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders across institutions
- Must be able to work flexible or unusual hours as needed to support project operations, including some evenings (up to 7 PM) and weekends
