Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking fora First Impression Specialist to be the welcoming face of PDW. This role is focused on hospitality, front desk presence, and keeping daily office touches running smoothly. You'll set the tone for visitors and staff by making their arrival and departure positive and professional, while providing hands-on support to the Business Operations team. This role is about being organized, reliable, and making sure the little things that keep an office running never get overlooked. What You'll Do:
- Welcome and check in/out visitors, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
- Escort guests through the facility when needed and act as their point of contact while onsite.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and keep the front desk covered during business hours.
- Keep the cafe area stocked with coffee, drinks, and snacks for staff.
- Monitor and reorder office supplies such as pens, paper, and printer ink so essentials are always available.
- Assist with booking conference rooms, prepping spaces for meetings, and placing lunch orders as needed.
- Take badge photos of new hires and assist with basic onboarding touches.
- Help the Business Operations team with company events, including setup and teardown.
- Pitch in with other administrative or operational tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or Associate's degree preferred.
- 2+ years in an administrative, receptionist, or customer-facing role.
- Strong communication skills and a welcoming presence.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Comfortable working independently while supporting a team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and open to learning new systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods. This role may involve reaching, bending, climbing, or kneeling. Occasional lifting or moving of office supplies or materials, up to 25 pounds, may be required.
Work Environment This position operates primarily in a professional, climate-controlled office and manufacturing environment. Standard hours are Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM, with occasional overtime for events or operational needs.
