What to Expect
The Tesla Insurance team is looking to bring in a Subrogation Adjuster to join their Claims organization.
What You'll Do
- Reviews claim files to identify, evaluate, analyze, and interpret subrogation potential
- Coordinates appropriate steps to secure evidence and ensure pursuit, development, and recovery of claims
- Evaluates completeness and accuracy of documentary evidence, records and processes all recovery payments, prepares and issues payments for subrogation expenses and, if recovery is completed, ensures policyholders are reimbursed the deductible amounts
- Efficiently and effectively utilizes multiple Tesla Insurance Claims Information Systems/Programs to accurately maintain subrogation files and file diaries
- Develops, maintains, produces, administers, and distributes accurate and complete subrogation reports on a monthly and/or as directed basis
- Provides management with regular updates and status reports on subrogation files
- Per Company claims and/or subrogation guidelines, company quality and time standards and governmental regulations, appropriately and correctly responds via telephone and email interactions to a wide range of routine to more complex claimants', agents' and/or third party representatives' subrogation and other related inquiries and issues
What You'll Bring
- Strong knowledge of various personal lines products, including Property and casualty, personal umbrella products
- Property-related principles, practices, processes, and terminology
- Business writing, grammar, and punctuation rules; telephone and email business etiquette rules; desktop computer operations
- Standard business software and web-based engine operations (e.g., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet Explorer)
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
- Must possess an active Adjuster License, or be willing to acquire within 90 days of your employment start date
